I remember my grandpa was a very quiet, gentle person who very seldom raised his voice to any of us. He liked to rock and sing to his grandchildren or teach them how to play cards. He also liked to drink, bought gin by the case but I cannot recall ever seeing him ever overdoing it except one time
being accused by my grandmother of having taken one to many, calling him VIEUX FOU. According to grandma, his worst fault was falling asleep in his rocking chair in front of his Motorola floor model radio while listening to the CBC one o’clock news, his pipe falling and messing up her clean floor.
